Do you battle to get to sleep?!

I hear so often, that people struggle to get to sleep initially and their frustration, the tossing & turning, getting up to use the bathroom, ends up fuelling the frustration, which can easily escalate to feeling angry at still being awake.
I recently saw a client who had unfortunately created a routine where it took her 5 hours to get to sleep!
She had unwittingly trained herself to be awake in bed, instead of being asleep.
To avoid this happening, if you are awake in bed for more than 30 minutes, get up, watch something light on TV (not a phone or tablet) for 20 mins, then go back to bed.
